Needless to say, we are living in perilous times right now. (If you can) – Children of Morta Giveaway”

The HM070 added a great option for PC monitoring . Now the HM101 and HM173 give builders two new size options, particularly for those of us who prefer not to squint. The original display was only 7″, but Lamptron is adding a 10.1″ and 17.3″ ones to give further monitoring options. Continue reading “Lamptron HM101, HM173 Expands PC Monitoring Display Lineup”

Is it just me or is it hard to get that excited about new SSDs lately? The first SATA versions revolutionized the PC experience. Games, productivity and even Windows loaded infinitely faster than before. As 3D Nand made capacities more affordable, HDDs have almost become a thing of the past. NVMe promised much faster speeds, but the noticeable difference isn’t that big. Patriot just launched the P300, an affordable NVMe with moderate speeds. However, the potential error checking and capacity benefits can make it very interesting. Continue reading “Patriot P300 NVMe SSD gives a New Reason to be Excited”

When I first heard about ModWater from ModMyMods, my first thought went to performance. Who doesn’t want to shave a degree or two off of temps? That said, the reality is coolant isn’t going to do much of anything to the overall cooling performance of a custom water loop. If you want lower temps, get a thicker, high fin density rad or more airflow out of your fans . ModMyMods knows this, which is why ModWater emphasizes completely different features. Colorful rainbows of lighting come at a huge cost. Tons of wires! The future of wireless RGB future has to have a vision that involves cutting all the cable clutter. Thankfully, Bluetooth could very easily be the answer. News for mobile products isn’t our kind of thing, but Bluetooth LE could be perfect for RGB controllers to communicate wirelessly with other hardware. Continue reading “The Wireless RGB Future is in Bluetooth LE”

A few weeks ago, Alphacool announced the Aurora Rigid Digital RGB LED strips. Alphacool is a name that might be unfamiliar to several of you in the U.S. Being based in Europe, it’s sad that we don’t have more exposure to their products. That said, I recently found a way to sign up for email newsletters. The new LED strips are perfect for cases. Continue reading “Alphacool Aurora Rigid Digital RGB LED Strip is Perfect for Cases”

When it comes to looks, no company gets it better than Raijintek . When it comes to AIOs, the EOS 360 RBW is the new champion of aesthetic design. Let’s face it, nobody has come close to making a CLC block that looks… this… Awesome!!! Much of this has to do with the fact that Raijintek didn’t try to plaster too much of their logo all over it. That said, performance might be pretty good as well. Continue reading “Raijintek EOS 360 RBW is the Coolest Looking AIO Ever!”

I have to check in once and a while to see what one of my favorite companies is doing. The Silenos caught my eye instantly. Raijintek is a company that already felt like it was doing cutting edge things. Recently however, I’m completely amazed at how great recent designs look. The Silenos isn’t just a case that appears to have great airflow , it looks like it’s targeting a friendly budget as well. Continue reading “Raijintek Silenos Brings Ultimate Airflow to Mid Tower”

All-In-One (AIO) coolers have been a big deal on CPUs for some time. The Eiswolf Aurora takes the concept of easy, affordable cooling to graphics cards. GPU cooling has always been a bit behind CPU cooling. What’s odd about that is that the GPU is generally used more heavily than the CPU . Alphacool is bringing a huge step for GPU AIOs, and I hope we get to see more innovation in this arena. Continue reading “Alphacool Eiswolf Aurora Takes Huge Step for GPU AIOs”

The fastest NVMe SSD, the VPR100, has been unleashed on the world. How do I know you ask? All you need to see is that brilliant RGB lighting and you should instantly know. Also, I suggest you don’t try to verify that statement with facts. We’ll all be happier that way! All joking aside, this has been one drive I’ve been excited about since seeing it at CES 2019.
